Headline: Tegan And Sara To Tour With The Killers

Fresh off their sold-out headlining tour, Tegan and Sara have been chosen to open the second leg of the Killers’ highly anticipated North American tour. The dates kicks off on April 11 in Phoenix and end up in Chicago on May 11. In addition, Tegan and Sara will be performing at SxSW in mid-March and playing at Coachella on May 1st alongside Nine Inch Nails, New Order, Bright Eyes and Arcade Fire in support of their critically acclaimed third release "So Jealous" (Sanctuary Records/Vapor Records).

Tegan and Sara continue their current campaign in support of So Jealous with a television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 23rd. This booking comes after recent performances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and the Late Late Show. So Jealous was chosen as one of Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Albums of 2004, and the band’s current single “Walking With A Ghost” is active at Alternative and AAA radio, with adds at stations such as Live 105 (San Francisco), WXRT (Chicago), WFNX (Boston), Indie 103 (LA), and 89X (Detroit).

Canada’s Tegan and Sara were born in Calgary, Alberta. They have toured with many bands and performers including Hot Hot Heat, Ryan Adams, Rufus Wainwright, Neil Young, and Ben Folds. Their previous catalogue includes If It Was You (2002) and This Business of Art (2000). Joined by Rob Chursinoff on drums, Chris Carlson on bass and Ted Gowans on guitar and keyboard, Tegan and Sara are a band not to be missed.
