Headline: Tegan And Sara Come Home To Canada
Tegan & Sara

Tegan And Sara didn't have much reason to be jealous of anyone last year. 2004 was a pretty kick-ass year for the twins from Calgary (who now reside in Vancouver/Montreal) their latest album, So Jealous was regarded by most critics as their best to date and the ladies toured their butts off. In addition to a successful U.S. tour, the duo were also invited to play the 2004 Farm Aid concert as well as Neil Young's prestigious Bridge School Benefit, which also counted Paul McCartney, Sonic Youth and the Red Hot Chili Peppers among its participants.

Now T&S are ready to come back home and take on Canada. Next month the duo will tour from coast to coast, kicking their tour off on February 2 in Vancouver and finishing it off on February 21 in Halifax.

Before the Canadian tour starts, though, the twins will take care of a few loose ends in New York. They'll appear on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on Tuesday (January 11) and will play NYC's Bowery Ballroom on January 12.

Finally, to top off T&S's good fortune in the U.S., Rolling Stone magazine have just named So Jealous one of the Top 50 albums of 2004. The album appears alongside discs by Eminem, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse and fellow Canadians The Arcade Fire. See what all the fuss is about on the following dates:
